Over the coming weeks we have witnessed heavy rainfall and harsh floods.Many people are without power or running water and some have either been injured or killed, due to the collapse of houses and roads.
Community-based initiatives are springing up all over the UK and all ages are doing their bit in the worst floods in decades.
Out of devastations comes compassion out of compassion comes community spirit and so comes solidarity.

People are giving up their time as they rally round to help neighbours protect their homes with sandbags and ensure the elderly are safe.
Many of our communities are facing devastating physical and emotions challenges over the coming months.
The gap between living breathing working is shortening to helping caring and showing compassion, something that we all began to lose along the way. The kindness of strangers prevails.
We must all stand together not just in times of crisis but open your heart and soul to helping others.
Begin to open your awareness to everyday needs and do your bit to help those less fortunate. Whatever the crisis, we all welcome help.
