Do you dream of stepping off the rat race and settling for a more rural way of life? Living life at a slower pace and enjoying a carefree existence. We are a group of individuals interested in collectively pooling together our resources to enable us to set up as a Housing Co-operative.

By choosing this structure we can collectively free ourselves from the restraints of society to live a much more simplistic lifestyle.

 We are looking into buying a large property with land under the Co-operative framework. Within the West Midlands area or Wales.

The finances that each individual puts in are classified as loan stock taken out by the Housing Co-operative and each individual can invest their loan stock amount from anything from 5 years to 25years.

Any amount that you feel you can offer will greatly help our cause.

We will become a non for profit organisation and can apply for loans, grants, donations and fundraise.

We are looking for other like minded individuals that are interested in joining us.

 We have now received the forms to begin the process of becoming a registered Co-operative.

Our aim is to live and work at the home through running spiritual and holistic retreats, and holding spirit medium events and circles. 

We also hope to open up a garden centre and a meditation garden for all the community to use. To also have a small animal sanctuary open to local schools and organisations.

Our plan is to also open up a drumming workshop and put on community entertainment.

We aspire to become self sustainable through the process of looking into renewable energy, and allotments.

I realise that some of you will want to join our co-operative but not have the collateral or can only raise a small amount, we hope that we will all pool together and those that can offer to put in more will, therefore helping us all to achieve our goal.

Then The Awakening Retreat Housing Co-operative can collectively gain resources and much needed skills to live the way we choose.
